Community Bible Study

BETHESDA - MD

CBS Bethesda invites you to discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our groups meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with home study questions and commentary. Each week, you will participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, extended fellowship gatherings will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

Evening Virtual Ethnos Group will meet Tuesday evening 7:45 PM To 9:00 PM on Zoom.

We are excited to announce brand-new studies for 2023-2024: 18-week course in Ruth/1 & 2 Samuel and then a 12-week course in Ephesians. We offer the following types of lessons:

Next Gen Ministry

We are accepting registrations for an in-person Children's Program (age 6 months to elementary age) for the 2023-2024 class year. Children experience the love of Jesus through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts and other activities, we seek to provide an online experience where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. NEW THIS YEAR, Elementary age children will begin the day with the younger children and then will split off to study Ruth/Samuel/Ephesians.

Ethnos

If you’re learning to speak English as a second language, then this specialized CBS group – Global – might be just perfect for you! Our cities, neighborhoods, schools and communities are multicultural, and it’s our desire to bring the life-transforming benefits of an in-depth Bible study to people whose first language is not English. We offer Global groups with simplified lessons. We have in-person and virtual (daytime and evening) groups. Please register online and e-mail bethesda.cbsclass@gmail.com to indicate Global.
